Camarillo, October 13. SolarWorld, the third largest solar company worldwide, will present itself at the annual SEIA/SEPA solar industry trade conference, Solar Power 2006, from October 16 to18. It will be held this year in San Jose, with over 130 exhibitors and an expected attendance of over 4,000 which includes channel partners, residential and commercial customers. The show is the premier conference for the Photovoltaics business. With a 20x30 booth, the company is one of the largest exhibitors at the show.
SolarWorld will introduce its new Sunmodule® product line that will be available from January 2007. This next generation module incorporates an improved low profile, high strength frame and a patented compact junction box. The module design also includes new double insulated cables, which are NEC compliant for use in ungrounded source circuit systems. This allows for safer and higher efficiency system designs. “With over 25 years of manufacturing experience, we continue to set the industry standard for top quality modules and innovation,” says Raju Yenamandra, Sales Manager America.
The SolarWorld exhibit was specially designed to showcase the product line from wafers, cells to modules and systems, along with the company’s technical expertise and innovation. Having the show in California, the focus is also on the upcoming implementation of the California Solar Initiative, an unprecedented 10-year solar incentive program designed to install 3,000 Megawatts of solar energy in the state by 2017. As the leading California-based solar manufacturer and large system commercial integrator, SolarWorld is uniquely positioned to supply California customers with the products, services and systems that best serve their energy needs.
