Facilities Manager - (Hillsboro, OR)

Position
The Facilities Maintenance Manager will be responsible to coordinate plant maintenance, contracted services, waste handling, space planning, and other tasks necessary to support the constantly changing Facilities environment of a high volume Photovoltaic manufacturing facility.   Coordinates internal as well as external resources to accomplish tasks.    Works with moderate to minimal supervision.   Requires strong general technical knowledge of facilities as well as a demonstrated ability to motivate teams to excel.

Primary responsibilities for this position include:

  • Directs the Facilities Maintenance department, waste treatment technicians and contracted plant services.                       
  • Maintaining all aspects of plant maintenance; preventive as well as predictive.
  • All aspects of contracted services such as security, landscape, janitorial, vending, etc…may interface with local permitting agencies.
  • Performs daily field supervision of maintenance and contracted work projects.
  • May support the design and installation of facilities or process equipment.
  • Maintains all documentation related to facilities procurement, maintenance, spares, SOPs, work instructions, etc…
  • Participate in site Emergency Response Teams.
  • Works on assigned strategic activities, other projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:Bachelor’s Degree in related technical field or AS degree with military or other relevant training or experience. Seven or more years of recent similar work experience in high technology Facilities organizations.Training in MMS, SPC, SPS and ISO 9000 or other quality systems and their application to Facilities areas. Professional Facilities certifications desirable.
