Hillsboro, OR – USA Headquarters and largest solar PV production facility in the Americas
Hillsboro, OR is the site of our new Americas headquarters and the location of the largest and most advanced single solar photovoltaics production facility in this region of the world. Hillsboro is located approximately 20 miles west of Portland, in the heart of the Pacific Northwest and the “Silicon Forest”, where clean hydro-electric power and a trained high-tech workforce provide an excellent climate for growth. The site is currently under reconstruction, with an investment of over $400 million. The State of Oregon has pledged to support these investments with property and business energy tax credits, making this an ideal new headquarters for US expansion.

Camarillo, CA – Sales & Marketing and modules for a growing world
Our final product in the USA is completed at our Camarillo, CA location, which houses both module manufacturing and SolarWorld California, our Sales & Marketing group offices for the Americas. With a new state-of-the-art module production facility, SolarWorld is investing across all production areas and focusing this historic site (one of the early pioneers in the solar photovoltaic industry) on meeting the growing energy demands of our world.

Vancouver, WA – silicon ingots for secure internal supply
Home of the historically famous Hudson’s Bay Trading Company’s Fort Vancouver, the growing city of Vancouver in Washington State is settled on the north bank of the mighty Columbia River. What started as an inland trade center over 300 years ago, has become a thriving center for energy-intensive manufacturing such as silicon crystals and semiconductors, as well as pulp and paper.
