PV installation video series

See below for a descritption of each of the 4 videos in this playlist.

Welcome to the SolarWorld installation training video series. In Part 1, we look at installation planning and racking, using SolarWorld 60-cell black modules, Quick Mount PV composition roof mounts, and SolarWorld Sunfix Plus racking.

Part 2 of this video series demonstrates the installation of SolarWorld modules with Enphase microinverters, concluding with an overview of the balance of system components and grid interconnection.

Part 3 demonstrates the installation of SolarWorld modules with an SMA transformerless string inverter. Note that this demonstration installation meets 2014 NEC rapid shutdown requirements, as the inverter is located less than 10 feet from the PV array.

The installation training video series concludes with a part 4, performing a performance test on a working ground-mounted PV array. Here, we discuss the impacts of irradiance, temperature, and other system losses on the expected AC power output of the string inverter. We use a pyranometer and an infrared thermometer to measure irradiance and temperature and calculate their effects on system performance.
